Traffic Counters with Pressure Hose Sensor
TC-PH50 Series Traffic Counters With Pressure Hose Sensor
The SenSource TC-PH Series road traffic counters operate with a pressure hose sensor and 7-digit LCD counter,
Count Recorder or 418 MHz data transmitter. Battery operation facilitates easy installation and portability. The
road traffic counter will increment by +1 each time tires cross over the pressure hose (i.e. a car will increment the
counter by +2, once for the front tires and once for the rear). Depending on which version you select, Counts can
be retrieved with a variety of methods using Internal LCD display, Dowloaded from Count Recorder or Wireless
Data Retrieveal. When used with a Sensor Server the internal 418 MHz radio facilitates automatic data collection
and PC/Network functionality. Time stamped hourly traffic from multiple sensors and facilities can be centrally
monitored.

PCDL-1000 Count Recorder
The SenSource PCDL-1000 Count Recorder is a miniature (2.2" X 1.4" X 0.6") internally powered counter / totalizer. This effective, low-cost recording device is included with the TCR-PH50 Road Traffic Counter to allow recording and easy transfer of data to your PC or Laptop. Operates autonomously for months at a time (typical life = 1 yr) on a 3.6-volt lithium battery. Convenient programmable scaling factor allows you to divide or multiply counts to correct for error factors.
Features of the PCDL-1000 Count Recorder
The PCDL-1000 acts as a totalizer, continuously recording data over specifically defined time intervals. Once activated the PCDL-1000 records counts within adjacent "time bin" periods. The bin period is selectable from 2 seconds to 12 hours. At the end of each bin period, the total count is stored in memory. The Count Recorder then starts another bin period and continues until either the memory is full (up to 16,363 records) or the test period has ended. If a 1-hour period is selected the PCDL-1000 can continue recording for up to 681 days.
For setup and data recovery the PCDL-1000 is used in conjunction with a host PC running user friendly, Windows based software. The software will provide the user with a graphical or tabular display indicating traffic flow rates. Or simply export the data to an Excel spreadsheet for easy data manipulation.
The PCDC-RS232 (RS232) serial interface cable and software connects to your computer to down load data. ( * PURCHASED SEPARATELY). Only one PCDC-RS232 is needed for all recorders unless the connection from the PCDL-1000 to the computer will be permanent, in this case one PCDC-RS232 cable is needed.
Optional - PCW-SSRX4 Sensor Server
Whether you're counting people, parts, or vehicle traffic. The Sensor Server processes and serves data received from up to 100 wireless sensors equipped with an RF transmitter. Data can be automatically or manually downloaded from one or more local and remote Sensor Servers to one central PC. Historical data logs contain information to identify each location and each specific sensor within a location along with count value, date and time stamps. The data is stored in a standard CSV file format easily viewable with MS-ExcelTM or downloadable into a database. The Sensor Server contains battery backed RAM and is fully configurable both locally and remotely. Server and sensor status with current accumulated counts can be easily viewed in near real time with any standard web browser. Communication is established via Ethernet TCP/IP or serial RS232 protocol.
